Health and Safety At Work Act/ Wildlife and Countryside Act

I have been looking through the Wildlife and Countryside Act. Its been put in place to ensure the safety of wild animals birds and plant life. It was put in place in 1981. Amending previous acts set up to protects wildlife.
It states that people should be aware when going out into the countryside, of the different types of animals, and plant life that live there. Its so that people don't damage or disturb there habitats.
This is relevant to landscape photography, because often you have to tread through fields and different environments. This can cause disruption to the different wildlife that live there, if you know what to look out for.

Also i have been looking through the Health and Safety and Work Act. This basically is to ensure the safety of people at work. That people are aware of the different hazards that face them in the work place, so that they can take the necessary precautions to protect themselves.
Photographers may need to know how to use different lighting, computer equipment, etc. This can be hazardous if not used correctly.

  1. Hi
An easy tick off this one, maybe add a link to a site and think of how you can mention it in your work somewhere on a shoot to show how to implement it.

  2. Hi
Maybe on reflection can you pad this out a bit as regards more info and in particular in practise, because as a photographer your workplace can be anywhere.

  3. Unit One:

From the very first day you have leapt into this assignment with vigour and explored both the kit you have and how best to apply it to your own work. You have taken on board my comments on your blog and it is clear to see that you have added value to your own work.
The areas of photography you have looked at have shown you are not afraid to explore and taste different ways of working. You have been able to justify the correct choice of kit with the successful images you have produced.
